1. Scope
This policy applies to Micro Rewards™, microrewards.io, the closed-beta browser extension, advertiser and account portals, Micro-native video and livestream experiences, reward processing, and related support and administration.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Name, email address, country, browser information, interests, company or project information, advertiser profile and billing-contact information, support requests, feedback, screenshots, and messages.
- Username, securely processed password data, public Kaspa receiving address, and wallet-provider information you voluntarily choose to share.
- Campaign names, descriptions, schedules, reward rates, budgets, landing pages, media URLs, thumbnails, creator or broadcaster details, rights confirmations, authorization notes, polls, comments, reports, and moderation settings.
Activity, streaming, and reward information
- Verified playback time for videos, Shorts, livestreams, and replays; focus, visibility, playback state, seeking, playback-speed, inactivity, live-edge, and active-session signals; Micro-native likes, comments, shares, poll responses, follows, follow preferences, creator-notification delivery/read status, and reward events.
- Campaign and stream-channel identifiers, live-event state, publisher connection and disconnection events, source identifiers, credential creation or rotation events, gateway and HLS request logs, playback errors, and stream-health information.
- Reward calculations, balances, advertiser deposits and allocations, campaign spending, withdrawals, transaction identifiers, payout status, and timestamps.
Security and fair-participation information
- The extension creates a random installation identifier and stores it in browser-extension local storage. The dedicated backend anti-abuse records store a keyed/HMAC hash of that identifier rather than the raw identifier.
- IP address, browser or device details, user-agent information, extension version, authentication events, server logs, error logs, rate-limit events, account status, and administrative actions. Ordinary infrastructure logs may contain IP addresses; dedicated anti-abuse records use hashed network and user-agent signals.
- Active account and installation session leases, installation-to-account history, shared-network observations, near-synchronized session-start indicators, shared payout-wallet indicators, email-verification status where required, risk events, risk scores, and administrator review decisions.
Public Kaspa wallet addresses and blockchain transactions are generally visible on the Kaspa network and may remain publicly accessible even if your Micro Rewards account is later deleted. Micro Rewards does not need, request, or intentionally collect your seed phrase, recovery phrase, private key, wallet password, or wallet PIN.
3. How We Use Information
- Operate, secure, test, maintain, and improve Micro Rewards.
- Create and manage user, advertiser, creator, and broadcaster accounts and campaigns.
- Generate, authenticate, rotate, and revoke campaign-specific livestream channels; receive gateway status events; deliver HLS playback; and diagnose interruptions.
- Verify eligible playback and engagement, enforce campaign budgets and per-user limits, calculate rewards, record analytics, and process withdrawals.
- Enforce one active rewarded session per account and, when enabled, one active rewarded session per extension installation.
- Identify patterns that may indicate multi-account farming, automated engagement, account cycling, coordinated sessions, shared payout destinations, or attempts to bypass controls.
- Place rewards, rewarded engagement, or new withdrawal requests into review when combined signals meet configured criteria, and allow administrators to approve or reject the review.
- Display and moderate comments, polls, livestreams, campaign media, and other submitted content; communicate about beta access, campaign review, security, product changes, and support; and comply with legal obligations.
4. Shared Networks and Automated Review
A shared IP address alone is not treated as proof of abuse. Multiple legitimate users may share a household, office, dorm, school, mobile carrier, VPN, or public network. Micro Rewards evaluates combined signals and may create a pending review when activity appears unusually coordinated or linked. During a pending or rejected review, viewing may continue without rewards, while new watch rewards, rewarded engagement, and new withdrawal requests may be paused. An administrator resolves the review.
5. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with providers that support hosting, databases, forms, email, authentication, payment processing, security, streaming delivery, monitoring, and blockchain operations. Current infrastructure may include Netlify, Render, DigitalOcean, Stripe in test or controlled modes, FormSubmit, and infrastructure supporting the Kaspa network.
Campaign content, creator or sponsor names, livestreams, comments, polls, and related engagement may be visible to campaign participants. Advertisers may receive campaign-level analytics and first-party engagement records associated with their campaigns, subject to platform controls. We may disclose information when required by law, to address rights or safety complaints, to investigate fraud or security incidents, or to enforce agreements.
6. Retention
We retain information as reasonably necessary for operations, accounting, campaign reporting, security, anti-abuse review, moderation, rights disputes, stream troubleshooting, legal compliance, and enforcement. Active-session leases are temporary, while account-link, risk-event, review, reward, accounting, and audit records may be retained longer. Public blockchain records are outside our control.
7. Your Choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain information by emailing andreastsoumpariotis@microtechnologiesgroupllc.com. Some records may be retained for security, accounting, dispute resolution, legal compliance, or enforcement. Disabling or uninstalling the extension stops future extension activity, but previously collected information remains subject to this policy. Resetting or reinstalling the extension to evade safeguards is prohibited.
8. Security
We use reasonable safeguards such as authentication controls, role restrictions, encrypted communications, keyed hashes, logging, rate limiting, campaign and session controls, and administrator review. No system is perfectly secure, and these measures cannot prove with certainty that each account belongs to a different person.
9. Third-Party Services
Third-party platforms, wallets, encoders, payment providers, and hosting services maintain their own privacy practices. Micro Rewards is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by those services unless expressly stated in writing.
10. Children and International Processing
The closed beta is intended for adults 18 and older. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where service providers operate.
11. Changes and Contact
We may update this policy as the beta, technology, legal requirements, or business practices evolve.
